Early season

Twist (FE2015) an early june bearing selection from Fresh Forward’s high chill programme that excels by its precocity and fruit quality. This selection is furthermore characterized by a good yield, while maintaining a large fruit size throughout the season. The bright red berries are firm and have an excellent taste. The plant habit is vigorous, though not very vegetative, and has a strong root system.

Verdi The tasty & future-proof June bearer

Early season

Verdi is a mid-early June-bearing strawberry selection. Its harvest window is comparable to that of Darselect. Verdi is suitable for planting in conventional fresh and frigo cultivation systems, either in open field, under cover or in tunnels. Verdi has a healthy, balanced plant with lime green, shiny leaves

Allegro

Allegro is a new early season variety which was developed at Fresh Forward’s June-bearing breeding program. Allegro, a term in music and dance denoting a brisk tempo, lives up to its name through its fast production pace and high total yield. In terms of fruit quality, Allegro also manages to impress! It is characterised by very uniform and bright red fruits, with excellent taste. Allegro is a healthy and fast growing plant, with good tolerance to soil diseases. Allegro has a bright future ahead, particularly in early tunnel and open field cultivation.

Parlando

Early season

Parlando is a mid-early June bearer, from Fresh Forward’s high chill substrate breeding programme. The variety is suitable for early substrate cultivation, for a planting period from the end of December until the end of April. The variety stands out due to its outstanding and consistent fruit quality with a high yield and high disease resistance.

Rumba

Early season

Rumba makes for a swinging start of summer. From May onwards the attractive shiny, bright red strawberries add a glimmer to shop shelves. A veritable sight for sore eyes. The uniform fruits are tasty and can be enjoyed for a long time thanks to their good shelf life. The variety matures early, making it very interesting for both growers and retailers. Rumba is a resilient variety that is very well suited for outdoor and tunnel cultivation in northern and central Europe.
